El puntaje general para cada ciudad se derivó de cada una de estas medidas:
1. Tasa de propiedad de vivienda El 33,3% de la puntuación total. Una tasa más alta obtuvo una puntuación más alta. La tasa proviene de las estimaciones de 5 años de la encuesta de la comunidad estadounidense del censo de los EE. UU. Para todos los lugares del estado, Tabla DP 04.
2. Costos mensuales seleccionados del propietario como porcentaje del ingreso medio del hogar Supone el 16,7% de la puntuación total. Un porcentaje más bajo obtuvo una puntuación más alta. Los costos mensuales de los propietarios de vivienda como porcentaje del ingreso promedio de los hogares representaron la mitad de la calificación de asequibilidad. El ingreso mediano del hogar proviene de las estimaciones de 5 años de la Encuesta de la comunidad estadounidense del Censo de los EE. UU. Para todos los lugares en el estado, Tabla DP 03.
